Cafetal Latin Grill & Cafe in Buford

First time eating Colombian food and Cafetal did not disappoint! My fiancé and I shared the dinner for 2 and were able to try 4 different meats, rice and beans, and plantains. The food was delicious and the service was great! Definitely will be back!

I tried the Picadera and it was awesome!! Fresh, tasty, and Chinola juice just love it!

I had the red beans, they were just okay. By not having any of the menu in English was disrespectful to me, especially when 30% of your patrons are full blooded ameicans.

My fam and I eat here once every other week, it does help if you can speak some Spanish (you will only get good Spanish food from Spanish speakers, btw). Highly recommend the BANDEJA PAISA if you are hungry and a meat-lover!

Excellent! First off the Empanadas were beyond amazing. The food was outstanding! Great atmosphere, and the service was friendly, helpful, and kind. Definitely coming back here!

well. my family of 4 showed up at 8:00 thinking they close at 9. The door was already locked. Customers were still eating inside. I guess this is my first and last attempt here. I live 1 hour away.

I don't understand how this place has so many good reviews. I once was served a soup full of hair. Not one, many!!! It look like a guy had shaved his head on it. Disgusting and gross! It was my birthday too, the manager apologized and offered to give me another dish but I had lost my appetite already, for life.

The place is always full during lunch time, the food is good and the serving is a good amount and at a fair price. Their lunch special went up though. Sometimes it takes the waiter a long time to get your order. I use to go here everyday for my lunch, but they got s little lazy on the cooking as well, one time my chicken was not cook all the way, so I stopped going.

Friend introduced me to this place and I’ve been hooked ever since. Food is savory and staff are friendly. I’m not an expert on Colombian food but if all the food in Colombia tastes like this I need to book a trip soon. Check it out for great food and a good cup of coffee.

De mal en peor. From bad to worse.The food is getting worse. Order a bandeja paisa which was missing almost half af the ingredients. It seems every time i come back its getting worse.

Greeted by a very friendly host who answered our questions and offered some recommendations. We ordered 2 separate chicken dishes and a combination meat plate. The food was delicious! I ordered the chicken which was both moist and flavorful. The rice itself was tasty and it also came with beans and a plantain. Great service and great food! I definitely recommend and will return!

This is a hidden gem in Buford. I love hole-in-the-wall restaurants and this didn't disappoint. It was a truly authentic Columbian experience. The service was great and the food was beyond delicious. I took my Puerto Rican Dad and he loved it. The rice and beans were so well seasoned, and don't forget to order some tostones! They serve very large portions that allowed for an even better lunch the next day. Yum!

Surprisingly delicious! Hospitality on point! Serving size sufficient. Price reasonable! Most of all the flavor was ridiculously scrumptious!!

I took my students on a field trip for lunch (all 45 of them plus a bunch of parents!) and everyone loved it! We prepared our orders ahead of time so we could spend up service and we got seated, served, and out in the time we needed! Food was delicious and portions appropriate. I know some of my students have already gone back to visit with their families which was the point of me exposing them to new cuisines!

Sad to say that the only good thing in this restuarant is the empanadas, the steak was hard and no taste. The rice and beans had no taste.. I was so disappointed.
